The litter between Jackknife and Screamer was born on Dec 7th, 2024. She had 11 pups of which 9 are males and two are females. Mickey and I agreed he gets first pick and from then on we will alternate our selections…awarding him the odd number pick positions (1, 3, 5, etc) while I have even number pick positions (2, 4, 6, etc) in exchange for covering the labor required to care for Screamer since June, 2024, to cover the stud fee, and the expenses to do this breeding.
Since Screamer and the pups are in my possession, I will regularly post videos of the puppies and their development, and Mickey and I will make our selections around 6-7 weeks of age. Because of the low female count, Mickey informed me that he could really use both females and asked if I would be okay with passing on the other female when I make my first selection. Mickey has preserved the Sorrells’ line for nearly 20 years. Out of appreciation of Mickey’s work, I agreed to honor his request and I have agreed to allow him first rights of refusal on the females. As a result, I want my clients to understand that I will not receive a female from this litter unless Mickey changes his mind and chooses to pass on a female when he is making his selection.
